SPC Mahakam Hilir Pte Ltd is part of Singapore Petroleum Company Limited, a Singaporean oil company. SPC is involved in the exploration and production of petroleum, refining, trading and petroleum product distribution. SPC Mahakam Hilir is seeking experienced and competent staff to join its Exploration & Production team in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This position is based at Base Camp in Samarinda and candidates are expected to be very proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and have experience of having worked, or are currently working, in Indonesia. Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply.

WELLSITE GEOLOGIST

Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Exploration Manager at the Jakarta office, the incumbent will be required to communicate relevant information, deciding when specialized tests are required and ultimately when to start and stop drilling.

• Acting as the representative of the Company, to supervise service companies, mudlogging, FEMWD and wireline services personnel.
• Drilling cutting description.
• Collate and interpret data at wellsite
• Hydrocarbon show evaluation
• Core point, casing point and total depth selection
• Pore pressure evaluate
• MDT/RCI low shock sampling
• Quick look petrophysical evaluation
• Hydrocarbon contact identification
• Net to gross identification
• Incorporate HSE requirements in daily operations

Bachelor of Science in Geology, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, and Reservoir Engineering. Must have at least 5 years relevant experience. The Wellsite Geologist will be based at the wellsite when drilling commences.

• Have min. 2 (two) years experience in mining industry preferably from coal mining company.
• Fluent in English, Excellent communication and have excellent presentation skills.
• Understand all legal aspects, especially the process of mining permit.
• To be stationed in Jakarta with some traveling.

4. RECEPTIONIST (Samarinda & Banjarmasin)

• Female and and min. Diploma Degree.
• Hard working and Having min. 2 (two) years of working experience as Receptionist.
• Can speak and write in English fluently.
• Have computer skill in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
